When my friends and family found out that I was now in the "wedding cake business" I got a lot of requests. I no longer buy gifts for weddings - I make wedding cakes as gifts:)
Top (6") layer = amaretto cake with buttercream icing, middle (10") layer = carrot cake with cream cheese icing, bottom (14") layer = german chocolate cake with coconut pecan icing. All iced and decorated with buttercream icing and silk ribbon.
The cake topper was handmade by the groom's sister - she made it based on their Nintendo Wii Mii's!

My favorite, for sentimental reasons! Only a few more days until I get to eat the top layer!
