I probably shouldn't even be posting this picture because it's so embarassing, but what the heck, I'm not perfect and I never claimed to be!
Mike doesn't really care for cake so this year I thought that I would make him a brownie cake. I had all these grand plans to cut the brownie into the shape of an airplane (one of his hobbies is building and flying RC model planes), elevate it and use oreos for the wheels, etc. Well, as with most things I do I ran out of time and ended up with what you see above...I guess I need to work on my airplane drawing skills.
At least the brownies tasted delicious...especially b/c they were served with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and caramel and whipped cream! YUM!
